Kellie Martin, an American TV and film actress most well-known for her performances as Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama' series "Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the Life Goes On, a family-oriented drama The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series 'ER'. Kellie Martin is best known for her part as a protagonist on her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Born to a department store buyer and a kindergarten teacher, Martin was able to begin her acting career in the age of seven years old when her aunt who served as a nanny for actor Michael Landon's kids, helped her land a guest spot in the 1982 series 'Father Murphy'. When she completed her studies at Yale University in 1982, Martin decided to pursue her acting career more seriously. She landed significant roles on television as well as big screens. Martin as well as acting, she is also an accomplished photographer and ballet dancer. The mother of two daughters Martin is the Lupus ambassador and has been spreading awareness of the illness daily since the loss of her sister, who was 19 years old.
